Full Band for Mehfils:
Through the years, the concept of mehfils
has changed to one where a mixture of new and old songs
are performed with a lively mix of qawwalis added in.
Audience participation is encouraged and this has resulted
in mehfils no longer comprising of just old songs and
ghazals and something only your mums and dads attended.
We have a growing number of youngsters who are mehfil
fans and this number is ever increasing! One of our
key bands responsible for this change is 'Shama and
Friends'. With their mix of old classics inter-woven
with new songs and lively qawwalis, they hold the audience's
attention, whether they are 16 years old or 60!
Bands for Dinner
and Dances:
DK Promotions have a number
of bands suitable for dinner & dance functions.
We encourage our clients to see the bands in performance
before booking to give them an idea of their style.
We have a variety of local bands as well as bands from
India, to suit your budget requirements.
Bands for Garba:
Some of our bands specialize in garba entertainment
for sanjis and navratri. We can arrange the one-off
booking or the full navratri 9-night contract for you.
Karaoke: Planning
to have a party where you would like your guests to
participate in singing?
We have karaoke specialists for
your entertainment. They will start the evening off
by singing a few songs and then encourage you and your
guests to join in. A latest choice of songs and lyrics
are available for you to choose from. And if you feel
like dancing half-way through the evening, that's no
problem either because the karaoke singers will take
over and sing to the backing tracks of the dance numbers.
