Music and entertainment have become an integral part of any successful function.

Today, no function is complete without some form of entertainment.

The team at DK Promotions has a combined experience of over 25 years in Entertainment. We take care of all aspects of entertainment, from live bands to D.J.'s to Lighting rigs to providing stage management. DK Promotions will take care of the Complete planning to hosting the event, providing the sound layout, the stage, put the Light rig up, provide technicians and stage management.

We have a diverse range of entertainers, from magicians to artistes from abroad to cater for your needs. So all you need to do is tell us what you require and then sit back and let us do the arrangements, plan and host the event for you. It simply cannot get simpler than that! All you need to do after that is enjoy yourself!

  
  Artistes from Abroad  


DK Promotions are proud to associate themselves with various artistes for the Bollywood industry of Mumbai. We can organise from a single artiste to a full troupe of musicians and singers from India.

We will organise the contracts and permits and handle the whole procedure from start to finish. We can book these artistes for individual events to full commercial events.

We also supply Indian bands on short or long-term contracts.
Background Music


Not sure if you want to have a live band or D.J.'s. during your function but still want some music being played? Well, we have the answer for you.

We can hire out a sound system with c.d. player/tape recorder and an engineer to set it all up for you and play a selection of music for you. Alternatively, we can set up the system for you to play the music or allocate one of your friends to do so.
Classical Instrumentalists


DK Promotions can organise various classical instrumentalists to suit your occasion. This can range from solo performers to group performers.

We have a choice of classical instrumentalists who can perform live during weddings, cocktail parties or do stage performances. Choice of instruments includes bamboo flute, santoor, sarod, shehnai, sitar, tabla etc. We can also arrange for famous instrumentalists to fly from abroad provided adequate notice is given.

As a contrast to Indian classical instruments, we also have a group of Scottish bagpipe players who are becoming increasingly popular during weddings. The bridegroom arrives to the music of the bagpipes.
Clowns


Planning a party for your toddlers? Or, do you need to keep them busy during a family wedding so that you can enjoy it in peace? Well, then we have the answer for you.

DK Promotions can organise clowns for your children's parties or simply to entertain them in a crèche during weddings. These clowns are well experienced with childrens' requirements and you can book them as add- ons to functions or as a main act where they can deliver entertainment for more than 90 minutes.

You can discuss in advance whatever your requirements and preference are.

Dhol Players


Until recently, dhol players were only ever heard at Punjabi weddings. No more though.

Dhol players are becoming increasing popular to liven up all sorts of occasions. They are also an excellent medium to attract attention for grand entries by brides and grooms on their wedding day or during the evening reception.

The pomp and ceremony of a marriage celebration is started off in a grand way by the sound of the dhol played by either a single player or a troupe escorting the couple into the hall.
D.J.'s


D.J.'s have slowly become a very vital part of the entertainment industry in the past few years. If your occasion is going to involve a lot of dancing, then D.J.'s are an excellent Choice. We at DK Promotions regularly book our D.J.'s for various kinds of events, from birthday parties to raves to weddings.

As our audiences are from various cultures, our D.J.'s specialize in a wide array of music, from Indian bollywood music to English to Arabic to salsa to bhangra. So there's always something to suit everyone's taste.

As each occasion is treated individually, our D.J.'s are quite flexible and will always do their best to cater to your needs. If you have any special requests, they will be pleased to play them for you.

 
Karaoke


Planning to have a party where you would like your guests to participate in singing?

We have karaoke specialists for your entertainment. They will start the evening off by singing a few songs and then encourage you and your guests to join in. A latest choice of songs and lyrics are available for you to choose from. And if you feel like dancing half-way through the evening, that's no problem either because the karaoke singers will take over and sing to the backing tracks of the dance numbers.




Magicians


Although not seen very often in Asian functions, magicians are a novel way of entertaining your guests. They can either be centre stage or go from table to table, performing magic tricks.

Another occasion where magicians are widely appreciated is children's parties. It is wonderful to see the glow of wonder on their faces when tricks are performed and as the performers are experienced, the interaction between themselves and the children is quite entertaining!

 
Sound & Lighting


DKPromotions can provide full light and sound systems. The sound system can range from one mic system for announcements to full 16 channel mixers.

We can provide experienced technicians or you can hire the systems and set it up yourselves.

We also provide a full range of light rigs and again can install on the night and manage the system or you can hire the same.
